Ice Breaker

All delegates are invited to attend the conference icebreaker on Tuesday evening, hosted by Head Resourcing. Meet old friends and new over complimentary drinks and snacks in the John McIntyre Conference Centre. There is plenty of space to get comfortable and you'll be able to get a first look at the conference space.

Dinner with an agile stranger

We have put together a selection of excellent local restaurants for you to go to after the icebreaker. Their details (and menus) will be on display, so just pick the restaurant you'd like to go to and add your name to the list.

Wednesday 25th May

Open Space opening and Sponsor's reception Reception (featuring whisky tasting)


Tonight the Open Space section of the conference will get under way with an opening meeting followed by Open Space sessions until bedtime.

The evening is sponsored by JP Morgan who will be providing food and drink, as well as a chance to learn a bit more about one of Scotland's major exports - whisky.

Edinburgh Castle offers a unique setting in the heart of Scotland’s capital city.

Come and enjoy an evening at the Castle where we will have exclusive access to the castle's highlights including the:

*The magnificent Great Hall of James IV located in the very heart of the Castle in Crown Square 
*The Scottish Crown Jewels
*The Royal Apartments
*The Castle Vaults.

There will be drinks and refreshments served during the evening with music and traditional Ceilidh dancing.


If attending the full conference then you will receive a complimentary ticket to the party, if you would like to purchase any additional tickets please add this during the registration process. The cost of additional tickets are £75.00 + vat per adult and £25.00 + vat per child.

* The Castle is within walking distance from the conference venue, a small shuttle bus with limited spaces will run regularly throughout the evening between the castle and the conference venue.
